Joomla! SMTP instellingen

To set up e-mail using SMTP in Joomla! you do not need to install any additional plugins or extensions, this is a default option.

You can adjust these settings by going to System > General settings in the backend of Joomla!
Then go to the Server tab and adjust the settings as in the example below.

Do use your own mail addresses etc, this is just an example.

If you are using Office365 or Microsoft Exchange, an additional setting may need to be adjusted in the Firewall on the server. Check with your hoster before adjusting these things. If it still doesn't work, have a look at the FAQ or the article "Mailing via smtp in Joomla for Office365".
